Having been born and raised in the prairie province of Saskatchewan, Canada, Crystal has a love for the outdoors and adventure.

Along with growing up in the countryside, she has developed a deep respect for nature and all therein. With a diverse upbringing from aviation, forestry, ranching, homesteading and more she learned to appreciate the little things in life.

When not writing she also enjoys playing with her dog, painting, nature and botanical photography, drawing, hiking, fishing, spending time with family along with many more pursuits of learning, growing and sharing the experiences of life.
